Boost for Labour after two by-election wins

Labour has received a welcome boost after winning two council by-elections from the Conservatives yesterday.

Labour won the by-election for a seat on Warwickshire County Council, and another on Derbyshire County Council. Michelle Booth now represents the Kirk Hallam division on Derbyshire County Council, and Barry Longden won a seat for the Nuneaton and Bedworth district.
