Boris breaks manifesto pledge over rape crisis centre funding

BorisWatch reports that London Mayor, Boris Johnson, has broken his manifesto pledge and his express promise to Londoners to fund rape crisis centres in the run up to the May election, when he said:

“If I am fortunate to be elected on 1st May, this matter will be a priority under my Mayoralty…Quite simply, I believe that it is more important to fund Rape Crisis Centres than press officers.”
