Conservative leader David Cameron must have thought his photo-op trip to Georgia would make him look statesmanlike, but it’s backfired a little bit after coming under fire for the trip. He has avoided the usual pitfall for politicians taking unnecessary flights in these green times though, so he must be pleased about that. Indeed it turns out that the flight to Georgia is just cover for the true reason to leave the country as Recess Monkey points out that Georgia is just a stop-over before he goes off quietly on his real holiday (not the one in Britain he used for another photo-op).
