Honour among thieves? No this is the Tory Party!

When civil servant Chris Galley leaked all those Home Office papers to his Tory friends and then got caught, he must have been pleased with the reaction of his Party as they blamed everybody but him. A week later and the stout defence of the Home Office spy is starting to look a bit thin after Dominic Grieve, the Shadow Home Secretary, says in The Telegraph:

“If he’s done the leaking, it’s quite clear the department has a right to dismiss him. Of course it does. It’s a breakdown of trust. He’s made a choice, and he will have to live by that choice.”

The Tories have still stopped short of accusing their Home Office spy of breaking the law, but it can only be a matter of time!
