Responding to calls from supporters, Labour today released the inspirational short film first shown at the Labour Party Conference entitled “against the odds”.
The film highlights Labour’s history of struggle, against the odds, to improve Britain for the many and not the few. The theme is of Labour fighting for change from a position of underdog throughout history, but with clear references to the party’s current standing in the polls and Gordon Brown’s call to “fightback”.
The short film was not intended to be broadcast other than during the normal live coverage of the Labour conference, but we understand that it has been released on YouTube following an unusually large volume of requests from members and supporters for it to be given a wider platform.
