Labour’s candidate for Doncaster mayoral election chosen

The South Yorkshire Times reports that “the Labour Party has chosen Coun Sandra Holland as its candidate for the mayoral elections in Doncaster next year. Coun Holland has represented Conisbrough and Denaby on Doncaster Council since 2006. She also worked for Don Valley MP Caroline Flint for five years. Coun Holland was selected from a shortlist of three – all current Doncaster councillors – following a poll of party members.”
