Labour’s next viral widgetary wheeze

As previously reported on Labour Matters, Labour’s currently going into overdrive on the widget and viral video front. But after WebCabinet and the disconcertingly accurate website www.davidcameronseconomicpolicy.co.uk, and with the beta of LabourList.org shaking the foundations of the world as we know it, what could possibly be the next step?

More grassroots participation perhaps? An appeal to creativity unbound? Well, try this out for size from Labour’s official Facebook site:

“Following the success of our recent viral widgets – ‘WebCabinet (Shadow Version)’ and ‘David Cameron’s Economic Policy’ – we’ve got a few ideas on what to do next.

“But we’d like to involve as many people as possible in coming up with ideas for widgets, videos or anything else that might help to get our party’s message out online and so we’ve set up this discussion forum to allow people to share ideas with each other.

“We’d love to hear your ideas.”

So go on. Get them heard.
