New Conservative poster, new chance to mock

We didn’t have time to tell you about the new poster from the Tories because we were too busy making a spoof of it. Unlike David Cameron’s poster, however, ours is based on the Tory’s real policy on Inheritance Tax.

Even Cameron seems unsure of the merits of this poster campaign, showing it at only eighteen sites instead of the 750 reported to have been used in the first campaign this year. Maybe the penny is starting to drop at Conservative Central Office – all the money in the world can’t beat real viral marketing.

Speaking of which, we’d like to thank Sky News, the New Statesman and Liberal Conspiracy for giving our spoof poster a wider audience.

The people at mydavidcameron.com have also now got a new version of their Tory poster generator online and are displaying a number of alternative posters already, including our original, so why not make your own Conservative tombstone poster too?

I like the red rose growing from the grave of tory policy, nice touch :) My david cameron have said they wont be satirising the next tory poster, knowing its had its day. Still, this hasnt stopped both parties from starting their own p-poor fake poster sites. What will be next? The posters have already been turned into a 3d game (http://www.politicalgaming.com) and other copy sites are springing up.

Thanks for that link, but any game which assumes that the Tories will win the next election isn’t likely to be very good.

We prefer the excellent and addictive UK Election Remix of Zombieland. You can even play with friends via Facebook.
