Hundreds of mature trees are being planted in Stoke-on-Trent to create an impressive entrance for visitors.
The trees are being planted along Potteries Way and Town Road, in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.
The work is part of multi-million pound improvement plans for Potteries Way with new lighting, image panels and shrubbery all planned.It is also the first of many improvements in the North Staffordshire Regeneration Partnership’s (NSRP) £1.5 billion transformation plans.
Labour and Co-operative Party City Councillor Adrian Knapper, Stoke-on-Trent City Council portfolio holder for regeneration, said:
