When will the Tory Mayor get a grip of the tube?

Following another morning of tube delays on 5 tube lines this morning Labour’s London Assembly transport spokesperson, Val Shawcross said; “This morning’s tube delays and suspensions on the Bakerloo, Piccadilly, Victoria, Jubilee and Metropolitan lines are completely unacceptable. No wonder millions of Londoners who are facing daily delays and closures while paying sky high fares are increasingly demanding Boris Johnson gets a grip of London’s transport system.”

TFL have reported that there were severe delays on the following lines this morning:

* Jubilee Line – Part suspended / severe delays after overrunning engineering works.

* Metropolitan Line – Part suspended / severe delays after overrunning engineering works.

* Piccadilly Line – Severe delays after faulty train.

* Bakerloo Line – Severe delays after signal failure.

* Victoria Line – Severe delays after signal failure.
