Disappointed Medway Labour congratulates City Status winners
Medway Labour are disappointed that Medway has missed out on City Status as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this year.
However, we extend our congratulations to the successful new cities Chelmsford, Perth and St Asaph.
Cllr Paul Godwin, Leader of the Labour Group; “Though we are disappointed to miss out on City Status for Medway this year, it is important that all the effort put into this campaign is harnessed to promote the continued development of the Medway Towns.”
