Penistone and Stocksbridge MP announces series of local advice surgeries

Penistone & Stocksbridge MP Angela Smith has announced the commencement of new local surgeries throughout the constituency. At these surgeries people will be able to raise concerns with Angela, who will be able to offer help and advice to people.

There will be 7 surgeries held each month, with 3 being held at various locations in the Barnsley side of the constituency. Because of the success of the appointment system which has been in operation for sometime, this will be extended to all surgeries. Therefore constituents who want to see Angela should call 0114 2831855, where a member of Angela’s staff will book a time and date.

Commenting, Angela said: “It has taken a little while to organise these surgeries, but I think the wait has been worth it. There are now 7 surgeries throughout the constituency at various times and dates, which I believe will allow many more people to come seek help if they need it. I believe in being accessible to all my constituents, and hope that those who feel I may be able to help them will not hesitate to contact me.”
