i am a single parent working part-time earning less than 7k a year and my tax credits has been cut by £243.00 a month so how does that help me ?

i’m a single mother working part-time and getting tax credits.
losing my tax-credits is going to cripple me badly i’m not happy with their decisions one bit.

you are so right. its shocking some comments targeted at single mums is discrimination if you ask me. and it makes you laugh to think this has come from a teacher lmfao. lets hope that god forbid you husband never fuks off leaves you and your kids behind lol wonder would you still be saying then oh its down to the choices i made in life. how would you survive i wonder would you be claming tax credits for child care in order for you to work to provide for your child in what your husband who fuked off should be doing. or would you claim benifit. not work. no hope of provinding for your family. or one better would you starve not claim any benifits lol do you seem to get my point here. Its small minded people such as yourself that drag the country down. labour all the way. get the conservitives out.

since cameron has taken over i have less money and now our family is really struggling for money my husband works his arse off and we still dont make ends meet i hate this country!!

I know this situation well, although I haven’t been homeless I work an average of 20 hours a week and we are entitled to nothing. Its not very helpful at all. And to the editor, I understand that if I work 30 hours a week or more that I would be able to claim tax credits, the problem there is before I found this job I was out of work for 8 months after being made redundant from a 28,000 a year job im now on £6.51 an hour so that is already a drop, with the way the economy is out there at the moment employers are paying less and more and more of them are offering zero hour contracts. On top of this where I currently work they cannot afford to give me more than 20 hours a week so I personally feel like I am stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea, I struggle every month and only really get by. I feel extremely sorry for the families in this country who are being treated even more unfairly than people like myself, as atleast in my situation I only have myself to feed. I think the current government has made many mistakes since being given power and that come two or three years time they will have alot of explaining to do, my personal views on this are that our country cannot continue to be run in the way it is being run at present, sooner or later something has to give, my only fear is that it will be us, the majority of people that are giving and again not the people who can actually afford to do so.

Makes you die – we get tax credits and even with it are struggling. One week in the month when we have to pay the council tax we are left with tax credits only to live on hence baked beans and soup for me and my husband so my daughters can eat OK. Both girls started school – one in secondary and the other in full time Reception class at a new school the uniforms were just over £400 I had to borrow the money for this and now can’t pay it back. I think they should have all their money taken off them for a week they should live in our houses and see how they manage. THEY DONT UNDERSTAND SO DONT CARE

well if it were just familes who earn 50k plus then why have my partners working tax credit been stopped??? he earns under 15k a year and he’s providing for me and 3 children, before anyone asks why i don’t work… i’m a student trying to make a better future for me and my family…STFU you ignorant prick

I just think its discusting how ppl sat on there a**e claiming there looking for a job are getting more money and help than my working family. Me and my partner both work and even tho between us we only just make ends meet we are not entitled to child care or much working tax credits. The family next door to us are on there 5th child and both on benefits yet the can afford to run 2 cars and buy new t.vs and stuff all the time!!! honest, hard working familys deserve more than those lazy slobs!!! we would like to have another baby soon but cant afford it, maybe if we went on benefits we would!!!

well thats wrong my partner earns u00a315,000 a year have 3 kids and our tax credits have gone down by 220 pound a month and thats alot when your on such a low income i don not know how they can do it we was struggling before but now dont know what we will do. But im sure david cameron wont be losing any sleep over the likes of us while he can afford his lavish lifestyle im fuming and im pretty sure that we we cant live without the extra help as we earn no way near the 50,000 mark so what excuse could he think up fore that piss taker ……… get him out
