Labour’s latest Party Political Broadcast – Real stories, real help

The Labour Party last night released its latest party political broadcast, hearing the real stories of people helped by Labour’s action to support families and businesses.

The Labour Government’s car scrappage scheme has been immensely successful and is providing a much-needed boost to the car industry. Brian, a car dealer talks about the benefits of the scheme and at its Annual Conference in Brighton, Labour this week announced it would be extended; ensuring thousands of manufacturing jobs are protected.

Seamus a student, told how Labour’s Education Maintenance Allowance has been the difference for him and many other young people between advancing their life chances or being forced into the job market in difficult times. This is just one part of Labour’s efforts to ward off long-term youth unemployment.

Labour policies like SureStart and Child Tax Credits that are ensuring a bright future for families all over Britain, and giving every child the best possible start in life. Emma, spoke about how tax credits are helping her family.

Labour’s message from Brighton is clear: We will fight for a better future for Britain. The Tories represent change the many cannot afford.
