Stephen Timms MP, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, in advance of a Conservative announcement tomorrow, has told Labour Matters:
“No Tory promise can be taken seriously while their economic strategy remains incoherent. From the moment the banking crisis hit Britain, George Osborne’s judgement has been wrong on everything from Northern Rock to interest rates.
“He needs to stop making headlines on the hoof and start developing a coherent economic plan. Their incoherence would be a risk to British jobs and economic stability.”
