Labour Queen’s Park Councillors have called on Brent Council to repair the many potholes on Kilburn Lane for which Brent Council is responsible. Labour Councillors say that residents are concerned about the state of Kilburn Lane following the extremely cold weather and say that the many potholes are a danger to cyclists, drivers and pedestrians.
Kilburn Lane is the boundary between Brent and Westminster Councils and each Council is responsible for maintaining half of the roadway.
Councillor Paul Dimoldenberg, Leader of the Labour Group, said:
“We urge Brent Council to take urgent action to fill in the potholes along the stretch of Kilburn Lane for which they are responsible. We have alerted Westminster Council to the problems have been assured by the Council that the pot holes that remain are the responsibility of Brent Council.”
