Labour’s Queen’s Park councillors welcome crime hotspot CCTV camera

Queen’s Park Ward Labour Councillors have joined Westminster North MP Karen Buck to welcome the news that a second CCTV camera has been installed on the Mozart Estate at the junction of Dart Street and Dowland Street to tackle the recent increase in crime and anti-social behavior in the area.

Queen’s Park Councillor Paul Dimoldenberg, Leader of the Labour Group, said: “This second CCTV camera will help the police and local housing estate office to tackle the recent increase of crime and anti-social behavior which has been causing so much worry and anxiety for local residents. The Dowland Street/Dart Street area is a particular crime ‘hotspot’ and discouraging people from congregating there at night through the use of CCTV cameras will be a big step forward.”
