Queen’s Park Labour Councillors have welcomed a new programme of free Dog Socialising Classes run by local resident Crissie Chambers. The new classes commenced this week at St. Martins Church Hall, Mortimer Road, NW10 and are held at 3pm on Saturdays.
Crissie is also giving Talks on ‘FEAR OF DOGS’ to schools and the local library, and is keen to get local Youth Groups involved.
The Dog Socialising Classes were first started in 2008 with funding from the Queen’s Park Ward Budget.
Crissie Chambers says: “I am very passionate about helping the community be more aware about ‘Responsible Dog Ownership’ and want to make sure everyone who needs it has the opportunity to receive this free training.”
Councillor Paul Dimoldenberg, Queen’s Park Labour Councillor said;
“Crissie’s Dog Socialising Classes provide a valuable service to the local community by encouraging responsible dog ownership and we hope that the classes will be well-attended and help dog owners in Queen’s Park.”
