Tenants and lessees in Queen’s Park and Westbourne Wards are amongst those most dissatisfied with the service provided by City West Homes, Westminster City Council’s arms-length housing management organization, according to the latest information passed to Labour Councillors. Dissatisfaction with repairs and housing maintenance are the major worries of tenants and lessees.
According to surveys carried out by City West Homes and Westminster City Council since 2007, tenants and lessees on the Mozart, Queen’s Park and Westbourne Park Estates are regularly in the top three or four estates for dissatisfied residents.
Queen’s Park Councillor Paul Dimoldenberg, Leader of the Labour Group, said:
“Every day of every week, Queen’s Park and Westbourne Labour Councillors have to deal with the consequences of the very poor repairs and housing management service provided by City West Homes and Conservative Westminster City Council. We are dealing with so many cases of poor repairs and bad management all over the Queen’s Park and Westbourne Wards brought to us by angry tenants and leaseholders. City West Homes and Westminster City Council need to produce a dramatic improvement in the services they provide to tenants and leaseholders. At the moment the service is simply not up to the job.”
